The Hive is collaborative, community-based co-working facility in Southern Rhode Island at the historic Lafayette Mills complex in North Kingstown. The Hive offers events including guest speakers and Power Lunch Tuesdays, where members can share business ideas and hopefully drum-up new partnerships.
Mad Dog Artist Studios located in the Armory Arts District of Pawtucket is set up to meet the start-up needs of artists who want to work in most media, including, but not limited to jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, mixed media and painting. Members have the option of a 3,500 square foot open art studio at times and days that work with their schedules or private space. Artists of all levels of experience are welcome. Membership is month-to-month. Approximately 30 artists are currently in residence.
